When Emma was leaving Adam’s house..

Adam: Hey, you know this is never gonna work.

Emma: Why not?

Adam: Because clearly you’re gonna fall in love with me.

Emma: Oh, really? Well, then we just do this until one of us feels something more and then we stop.

Adam: Well it won’t be me.

Emma: It won’t be me.

[he kisses her]

Adam: Good luck with that.

When Emma was having her monthly period, and Adam suddenly went to their crib to deliver some cupcakes and a surprise CD. :) 

Adam: Oh, I understand what’s going on. You’re all on the same cycle. This is very exciting. Your uterine walls will be shedding for the next three to five days.

Shira: Nice memorization. Did you Google that?

Adam: I may have. Because you’re women. And I think that’s a beautiful thing.

On the evening of Adam’s birthday, his dad invited him to dinner—-to think that dad is having an affair with his ex-girlfriend. >_< Emma goes with him.

Emma: This isn’t really my place. I mean, who am I? I just have sex with your son sometimes. But…

Adam: Yes, she does.

Emma: But, there is really no reason for you to bring a child into this world since you’re acting like children already.

Vanessa: That’s really mean.

Emma: Yeah, I’m mean. But you’re fucking crazy. Cause given the choice between Adam and his dad, given the choice between Adam and anyone really, I’d choose Adam, everytime.

[to Adam]

Emma: Do you wanna get out of here?

Adam: Yeah. Fuck this.

[they get up to leave]

Adam: This Friday.

Emma: This Friday is Valentine’s Day.

Adam: Yeah.

Emma: No.

Emma: You’re gonna get more shake you have a bigger mouth.

Adam: You have a pretty big mouth.

Emma: So my sister’s getting married in Santa Barbara tomorrow and uh…I don’t know. I heard your show was tonight. Uh…congratulations.

Adam: Thank you.

Emma: I know this is random. I just, um…I miss you. I miss you so much.

Adam: Okay. I don’t know what to say. You’re…you’re calling me because you’re at your sister’s wedding and she looks happy and everyone is happy and you’re not.

Emma: I thought…I don’t know what I thought. I just…I…I guess I wanted to hear your voice. I mean, I know we broke up but…

Adam: Emma. We didn’t break up. We never started. I gotta go um…I’m still at work, so. Uh…have fun at the wedding and tell your sister congratulations. Bye.

[he hangs up]

Emma: Oh, fuck!

[Emma looks at Katie]

Emma: I have to…

Katie: Go.

Emma: Now!

[Adam call Emma as he’s leaving the hospital after seeing his dad]

Adam: Hey, you can’t call me and tell me that you miss me. I don’t wanna have that conversation on the phone. So you can’t text me and you can’t e-mail me and you can’t write on my wall. Like, if you really miss me, you need to grow up and get in your car and come and see me. 

[Emma get out of her car which is parked outside the hospital]

Emma: I’m here.

Adam: How…how did you know that…?

Emma: Shira texted me about your dad, so I came here.

Emma: I know I just can’t call you.

Adam: No, you can’t.

Emma: I know. I hurt you, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I wasted so much time pretending I didn’t care. I guess I just didn’t wanna feel like this. It hurts.

[she starts crying]

Emma: But I love you. I’m totally completely and in love with you and I don’t care if you think it’s too late, I’m telling you anyway.

[Adam just stares at her]

Emma: Will you please say something?

Adam: Wait. You should know, if you come any closer, I’m not letting you go.

she takes a step closer and he suddenly grabs her and kisses her.

Emma: I love you.

Adam: That’s good.

[they kiss again]

Adam: Your sister’s wedding thing?

[Emma nods her head]

Adam: And how long do we have to be there?

Emma: A couple of hours. What do you wanna do?

Adam: Something crazy.

Adam: Wow! Now I know why you never wanna have breakfast with me.

Emma: What?

Adam: You eat like a baby dinosaur. You don’t even chew. 

Emma: You think you can get used to it?

Adam: Yeah, I think so.

Emma: Good. I was hoping we could do this a lot more.

Adam: Really?

Emma: Mmhmm.

Adam: You know, I was thinking we’re gonna have to come up with some new rules. I’d like to start calling you ‘honey’ and ‘babe’.

Emma: I don’t know about ‘babe’.

Adam: No?

Emma: Hmm.

Adam: Snuggling?

Emma: Oh, yeah. I think we’ll just hang in.

Adam: Wow! This is all moving so fast.

Emma: Also, I…I’d like to leave the door open when I pee.

Adam: I think, no.

Emma: I think I’m gonna do it all the time. It’s gonna get weird.

SOMETIMES, A FLING CAN LEAD TO THE REAL THING. ♥  :)

Oh, those little things.

When you start to like someone, even if you deny it, your overall perspective of them gradually changes. You try to pick out the things that you like about them and the pay attention good qualities that they have instead of the bad, and you have this tendency to  overlook their flaws and shortcomings. Right?

You start to notice even the littlest things (the simplest details of their clothes doesn’t go unnoticed, the way they smile, the way they flip their hair, the way they fidget on their seats, their mannerisms, or even the way they call your name start to become a constant sound in your ears). Those little conversations or the petty fights start to take part in your daily activities, that you find yourself enjoying those moments. 

You find yourself having a re-run of the moments you have together, wanting more of those moments. And sometimes, you even start wanting to include them in your plans about the future. 

Just by hearing their names makes your heart beat a little faster than it normally does, and make you feel like there are butterflies in your stomach. 

No matter what opinion that others may have on them, and no matter what imperfections they have, you accept them as they are, knowing that nobody is perfect and that these little things are part of the overall reason why you start liking them in the first place. That these little things add up to their total personality and for the time being, they will be the best out of everybody.

It’s like, the more you like them, the better looking they get. :)

Second chances never gets old, do they?

Second chances are a way to give your best shot to do what is right. "Always believe that you’ll end up where you are supposed to be." :)

Sometimes, not everything goes well on a first case basis; experiments fail many times before it becomes a success; people get disappointed when something doesn't always go the way they planned it.

Just like in relationships, sometimes, they fail not because of external factors but because of you not being ready YET for the commitment. I mean, if you’re not yet ready but you commit yourself in a relationship—-the timing is off and then everything goes wrong. Small arguments become major fights. A single mis-communication can ruin it. Deal-breakers become big consequences that can turn into loopholes in your relationship.

What’s worse? It sometimes turn into actual break-ups between couples. 

As you go on with life, you’ll take note of a lot of people, people who would make up and be part of the reason why you are what you are right now. People with whom you’d share memories with, people who made an impression to you, who touched your life, whose lives you’ve touched and people with whom you’d shared something special with.

That’s pretty normal. In this world, it’s impossible not to meet people as we go on with our lives. 

And then you’re ready. Ready for that relationship. Who is the first person that comes to your mind? I guess, the person that would first enter your mind is the one that got away. Yep. Just like that famous song from Katie Perry with the same title. But, really, who is the ONE THAT GOT AWAY? 

They’re the very first person who you’ll think about because you’ll wonder, “What if they were here with me now?" You’ll ask yourself, "What if we were together now, with me as I am and not as I was?"  THAT’S WHO “THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY" IS.

The biggest “What if?" you’ll have in your life.

What do you do if it’s not yet too late? What can you do? WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Simple…

If you really loved that person and would not want to lose him/her in your life, you’d do something. You’d do anything just to have that second chance. That second chance where you can prove that true love do exists and can exist—-if you’ll exert effort for it.

Find Him. Find Her.

Because the very existence of a “one that got away" means that you’ll always wonder, what if you got that one?

Second chances—If you’re given a second chance to do what’s right and fix things over and you think that the person is WORTH THE FIGHT, you should grab it. 

Remember, not everyone gets lucky enough to have their own shot at second chance, right? :)

Words can work magic and they can act like a dagger. How we use them is up to us and when a man is trying to win that special someone over, he is in search of things that girls like to hear so that she falls head over heels in love with him. This is a tough thing to call so you better proceed with caution.

Before you go any further, take a guess at what one of the most popular answers to a question women ask on a man’s most important quality? HONESTY! It is as simple as that, the number one thing they want to hear is the truth. This starts from day one and what you don’t want to do is start a relationship out on a lie. You lose her because of this, it’s all your fault champ, no one to blame but yourself.
